Join us as we ‘Light Up The Oaks’ December 1

We’re kicking off the holiday season in AIP with good food, bright lights, and holiday cheer at Light Up The Oaks starting at 5:30 pm Friday, December 1. We’ll flip the switch on the hundreds of festive lights decorating the community center at approximately 6:15 pm. Children will enjoy storytime and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Watch popular short TV holiday classics on an outdoor screen. Try your hand at decorating an ornament to take home, or write Santa a letter and tell him what you really want this year. Season of Giving food drive to benefit our Nassau County neighbors

Brighten the season for the less fortunate in Nassau County by bringing donations for AIPCA’s annual Season of Giving food drive launching next week at Security Q&A on November 22. Your donations of non-perishable food items will be given to an outstanding local nonprofit organization: Gracie’s Kitchen. Gracie’s Kitchen is based in Yulee and provides hot dinners four days a week to those in need, as well as stocking a food pantry and pet supplies corner. Halloween Parade & Party October 31

A parade of ghosts, superheroes, witches and more will kick off a fang-tastic evening of holiday fun at The Oaks! Line-up of golf carts/low-speed vehicles will begin at 4:30 pm at Walker’s Landing. The parade will step off at 5 pm. Spectators are invited to view the parade as it snakes its way from Walker’s Landing to The Oaks, 203 Sea Marsh. Grounds & Facilities last month placed mock-ups of planned new monument signs at AIPCA’s entry gates. This was to help pinpoint the best location for the permanent signs for visibility and safety. Oktoberfest Food Truck Night October 4

Oktoberfest returns to Food Truck Night at The Oaks, 203 Sea Marsh, for an evening of Bavarian-flavored fun highlighted by community member Chuck Comeau playing festive German favorites on the accordion! Wurstbusters will be in the parking lot serving traditional German favorites — bratwurst, currywurst, schnitzel and spaetzle and more.
