Woman walking on the beach

Embrace AIP’s beachfront lifestyle, where you can have your feet in 3.5 miles of Florida sand at a moment’s notice. Treat yourself to a relaxing ocean sunrise, yoga on the beach or an evening stroll whenever you desire. Grab the kids and create a sandcastle they’ll always remember, spy on the seabirds, or swim in the surf.

Perfect for walking, jogging, and cycling, our shaded, well-paved trails weave from one end of AIP to the other, making them great for getting around as well as recreation. Explore 8+ miles trails with views of the community’s maritime forests, pristine beach and marsh waterways.

A game of pickle ball

If pickleball is your jam — and it should be — you’ll be happy to find the fastest growing sport in America is available right here. You can play this blend of tennis, badminton and ping-pong in Drummond Point Park. Amelia Island Club also has courts where its members may join lessons and fun matches.

Paddle Boarding

With miles of navigable marshes and waterways accessible from AIP, your kayak or stand-up paddleboard will be put to good use. Launch into adventure from your marshfront home, or from Walker’s Landing or Red Maple Lake. You can also book a guided kayak or stand-up paddleboard tour with the Omni at the Amelia Island Nature Center.

Drummond Point Park

Tucked away on the northwest side of AIP, Drummond Park features several nature trails, walkways and boardwalks extending deep into the salt marshes. Bring neighbors, kids and loved ones over to grill out, have a picnic, or play in this beautiful park suited for all ages.

A group of people playing petanque

Whether you’re new to throwing the boules or you’re a high-scorer in this classic French lawn game, you’ll enjoy the convenience of having a perfectly manicured pétanque court right in your own community. And since AIP has some real pétanque enthusiasts, you’ll find it’s easy to get a game going.
