Halloween Parade & Party October 31

published: October 30th, 2023 by in AIPCA Updates, News & Events, Special Events

A parade of ghosts, superheroes, witches and more will kick off a fang-tastic evening of holiday fun at The Oaks!

Line-up of golf carts/low-speed vehicles will begin at 4:30 pm at Walker’s Landing. The parade will step off at 5 pm. Spectators are invited to view the parade as it snakes its way from Walker’s Landing to The Oaks, 203 Sea Marsh. Prizes will be awarded for All in the Family, Most Creative, and Best in Show. Winners will be announced at 5:30 pm at The Oaks and must be present to win.

Immediately following at The Oaks there will be family-friendly party in the parking lot. We will have candy for the kids and we encourage others from the community to join us for trick or treating. We’ll also have a magician, a selfie station to capture those awesome Halloween lewks, and a spooky touch and feel table that’s not for the faint of heart. Jax Taco will also be on site selling tacos, burritos, taco bowls, quesadillas, and loaded nachos. No alcoholic beverages will be on sale at this event.

Omni is offering our members 10 percent off the rate to rent an island hopper from Amelia’s Wheels for four hours, 20 percent off if you rent all day. Amelia’s Wheels will be closed at 5pm and the renters will need to use the drop box to return the keys and leave the cart in the parking lot when returning after the parade and festivities. Call Amelia’s Wheels at (904) 277-5120 for more information.

Please note
1) For the safety of everyone attending our Halloween activities at The Oaks, the main parking lot will close at 3 pm October 31. If you are planning to be at The Oaks past 3 pm, please park in Parking Lots B and C, located north and south of Ron Kolar Way.

2) Because of the festivities on October 31, there will not be a Food Truck Night November 1.
