The 5th of July Beach Cleanup: A community tradition

The 5th of July Beach Cleanup: A community tradition

published: June 22nd, 2023 by in News & Events

Join your friends and neighbors for our annual 5th of July Beach Cleanup! Volunteers will gather at 8 am Wednesday, July 5, to restore beauty to the AIP beach by picking up the “remains” of the 4th of July celebration.

The cleanup goes quickly and really is a feel-good, fun event for all. Invite your neighbors, families (yes, children and grandchildren), and house guests to join in. New residents, come join us and meet a lot of really nice people. The more the merrier — and less work for all!

Jean Middleton, who is heading up the 5th of July Beach Cleanup again this year, will divide volunteers into teams and assign the teams to different areas of the beach. To volunteer, email Jean who will provide additional details.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to participate in the 5th of July Beach Cleanup!
