Okefenokee Swamp focus of next Thoughtful Thursday

Approximately 7,000 years old, the Okefenokee Swamp is a vast, peat-filled bog inside a huge, saucer-shaped depression that was once part of the ocean floor. It’s home to hundreds of animal and plant species, including endangered animals such as the American bald eagle and wood stork. Breakfast at The Oaks, our new morning get-together on the fourth Saturday of every month, will be 8-11 am  this Saturday, February 26.
