Game Night at The Oaks returned from summer hiatus on September 18 with the always popular Trivia Night. Almost 50 people came out for an evening of brain-teasing fun led by Trivia:30. The winning teams were: 1st Place — Einsteins on Wine2nd Place — Haven’t Got a Clue3rd Place — Exit Strategy Join us when Bingo! with Emily returns at our next Game Night on October 16.

Live Music returns to The Oaks September 14

Join us from 5-8 pm Thursday, September 14, at The Oaks, 203 Sea Marsh, as Live Music returns from summer hiatus with an added feature! Endless summer continues as the acoustic duo of Sons of Beaches entertains with classic rock, beach, country and more. In response to community feedback, we’ll also have a local food truck on site for Live Music moving forward. Of course, everyone is still welcome to bring their own food and beverages to enjoy. We feature select food trucks from around Nassau County and Jacksonville and The Tavern by AIBC selling beer, wine and specialty drinks. Most vendors accept cash and credit cards. New Neighbor Meet & Greet September 6

If you are new to AIP and looking to make connections with other residents, join us at our New Neighbor Meet & Greet from 4-5 pm Wednesday, September 6, at The Oaks, 203 Sea Marsh. The event includes a brief welcome and tours of the community center. The New Neighbor Meet & Greet will be immediately followed by our first Wednesday of the month Food Truck Night. Come out to The Oaks, meet some fellow newcomers, get the lowdown on living in AIP, and stay for some great food!

Mary Duffy will discuss the nesting and hatching process, the threats faced by nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings, and the work done by AISTW to support and monitor sea turtle nesting on the island. Get set to test your trivia skills when Trivia:30 returns to Game Night on Monday, June 19, at The Oaks. Join us for some brain-teasing fun, friendly competition and prizes!
